Overview
This article will walk you through how to recover and restore items that were accidentally deleted in Canvas.
Steps
These are the steps that must be followed in order to recover and restore items in Canvas.
- While on Canvas and inside the Dashboard tab, click on the class you want to recover information from.
- While in that class, the URL at the top of your browser should be, "https://canvas.morainevalley.edu/courses/12345". Where the 12345 is, make sure your course number is listed.
- After the URL add "/undelete". It should look this this, "https://canvas.morainevalley.edu/courses/12345/undelete"
- You will be taken into a window where you can view all deleted items from the specific course.
***Note: After you recover an item, you still need to publish the assignment to the grade book for students***
