Microsoft Stream is a video-sharing service that allows you to upload, share, and manage videos. It is implemented with Microsoft Teams for you to centrally manage your recordings.
How to access Microsoft Stream:
- From the Microsoft Teams app:
- Select "Stream" from the apps list.
- If you do not see "Stream" in your apps list:
- Select the three horizontal dots to show more apps.
- Type "Stream" in the search.
- Right click on "Stream" and choose "Pin".
How to manage your videos:
- Scroll down to view a list of your recordings.
- Choose the three horizontal dots to display your options.
- Share: Start here to choose who to share your videos with:
- Share: Select this option to open a new window where you will enter the email addresses and a message to people you would like to share the video with.
- Enter the email address or name of the people you would like to share the video with.
- Enter a message that will be in the body of the email notification.
- Select "Send". They will now receive an email containing a link to view the video. Please note that only the people that you sent an email to will be able to view the video.
- Copy Link - Choose this option if you would like to make your video available to a large audience.
- A Link will be automatically created. Choose "Copy" and send or post this link wherever necessary
- Choose "Settings" for the following options:
- Share the link with: Use this option if you do not want it to be public and view by only Moraine Valley or specific people.
- More settings (Optional) : Choose if user can edit, view, or download.Videos should normally be left at "Can't download".
- Set an expiration date if the video should only be available for a set time.
- Set a password if you would like viewers to enter a password to view the video.
Viewer will open the link and view the video within their browser:
