How to manage your recordings

Microsoft Stream is a video-sharing service that allows you to upload, share, and manage videos. It is implemented with Microsoft Teams for you to centrally manage your recordings.

 

How to access Microsoft Stream:

  1. From the Microsoft Teams app:
    1. Select "Stream" from the apps list. 

  1. If you do not see "Stream" in your apps list:
    1. Select the three horizontal dots to show more apps.
    2. Type "Stream" in the search.
    3. Right click on "Stream" and choose "Pin".

 

How to manage your videos:

  1. Scroll down to view a list of your recordings.
  2. Choose the three horizontal dots to display your options.

  1. Share: Start here to choose who to share your videos with:
    1. Share: Select this option to open a new window where you will enter the email addresses and a message to people you would like to share the video with.
      1. Enter the email address or name of the people you would like to share the video with.
      2. Enter a message that will be in the body of the email notification.
      3. Select "Send". They will now receive an email containing a link to view the video. Please note that only the people that you sent an email to will be able to view the video.

  1. Copy Link - Choose this option if you would like to make your video available to a large audience.
    1. A Link will be automatically created. Choose "Copy" and send or post this link wherever necessary
    2. Choose "Settings" for the following options:
      1. Share the link with: Use this option if you do not want it to be public and view by only Moraine Valley or specific people.
      2. More settings (Optional) : Choose if user can edit, view, or download.Videos should normally be left at "Can't download".
        1. Set an expiration date if the video should only be available for a set time.
        2. Set a password if you would like viewers to enter a password to view the video.

 

Viewer will open the link and view the video within their browser:
