Step 1 - Open Excel.
Step 2 - If you are not already there, navigate to the File tab (Backstage view).
Step 3 - Click Open, then select Browse to open File Explorer. Navigate to the location where your TSV file is saved (typically the Downloads folder).
Step 4 - In File Explorer, locate the File name field. Change the file type from "All Excel Files" to "All Files (.)", then select your TSV file.
Step 5 - When the Text Import Wizard appears, accept the default settings and click Finish.
Step 6 - Your TSV File is now viewable in Excel
Outcome
The TSV file is successfully opened in Excel and displayed in a readable, tab-separated format for viewing and editing.
