Overview

The purpose of this article is provide a brief instruction on using the Application Launcher in Salesforce.

The App Launcher is a great tool to help you navigate your Salesforce org. It allows you to switch easily between applications, as well as search for specific Objects, such as Applications or Affiliations.

To use the App Launcher, look in the top left corner of your screen in Salesforce. You will see an icon that looks like this:

Click on the icon, and you will see a list of commonly used apps available to you. There is also a search bar where you can search for specific apps that may not appear in your menu, as well as other Objects.

Note: The apps that appear in the App Launcher will depend on your organization’s security, the applications your organization has purchased/has access to, and your profile’s permissions.
