Note the following:

  • If you make a change to the request, click Save. You will be prompted to enter and save a comment. This does not approve the request. This just saves your changes.

  • To approve the request, click Approve. This will send an email to the requestor letting them know the request has been approved.

  • To deny the request, click Reject. You will be prompted to enter and save a comment.  This will send an email to the requestor letting them know the request has been denied. This will also change the status of the request to Rejected. Once the request is rejected, it can be edited by the requestor and resubmitted.

  • Approvers cannot Delete a requestor submission. However, approvers can Delete a submission that they created on behalf of the employee (once it is saved).

  • Approvers will receive an email if the requestor withdraws a request that was previously approved or unsubmits a request that hasn’t yet been approved.

  • Comments entered are not included in the automated emails, but they can be seen by the requestor when they view the details of the request.

  • If requested changes or new leave requests made by an employee are not appearing, approvers can refresh the list of requests by pressing the F5 button on their keyboard.
