Outlook: Blocking Senders in Outlook
Outlook: Blocking Senders in Outlook
If you come across any email that you do not wish to receive further communication from, you can block the sender in Outlook easily.
All you need to do is right click the message and hover over
Junk
and click
Block Sender
.
You will get a confirmation message when you click it the first time. Go ahead and check
Don’t show this message again.
Then press
OK.
You might also get this message; however, this is normal and the sender you selected is still blocked. Go ahead and check
Don’t show this message again.
Then press
OK.
You will no longer receive emails from that specific senders
Managing your block senders lists
If you decide to resume receiving emails for a sender you blocked previously, you can always navigate to
Junk
from the Home tab and then click on
Junk E-mail Options
.
Click on the
Blocked Senders
tab. You will now be able to add, edit or remove your blocked senders.
