Overview
The purpose of this article is to illustrate how to do a hard reboot on a Surface tablet.
Information
A hard reboot may needed if your Surface tablet is frozen and you cannot access any files. To do a hard reboot of your Surface tablet, press and hold the "power" button and the "volume up" button at the SAME TIME for 15 seconds. This will reboot your surface. You may see the screen flash a few times. Upon rebooting you should be back to your normal sign in screen.
