Cisco Finesse Instructions

Getting started:

• The Network Operations department will provide you an IPCC extension that will be used to log in.
• Cisco Finesse must be used by Internet Explorer.

Sign in:

• Log into Cisco Jabber and set phone to "Use my computer for calls".
• Open a web browser and navigate to https://mvcc-ipticd.emp.ads.morainevalley.edu:8445/desktop/
• Enter your standard user name and credentials – you do not need the morainevalley.edu included with your user name.
• Enter the assigned IPCC extension you received from I.T.

If you receive the message “Device not accessible” – this means that Jabber has not been set to “Use my computer for calls”.loginAt the time of

Navigating Finesse:

• To begin answering calls, choose the “Not ready” drop down from the top left and choose “Ready”.
• If you miss a call it will automatically put you in the not ready state. It is common for new users of Finesse to step away from their desk, receive a call and be put back in the not ready state. Upon their return they are not aware that they have been placed in the not ready state. It will take time to adjust remembering to check your status.
