Steps

Follow these steps to turn on the systems in the Moraine Rooms.

Powering Up:

  1. Press “On” on the projector remote to turn on the projector(s) being used. The remote is located on the podium. Point the projector remote directly at the projector(s). NOTE: The lights in the Moraine Rooms can sometimes interfere with the remote working, so stand closer to the projector(s) when powering on.

  2. On the controller, select Video Presentation.

  3. Tap on the projector(s)needed. I.E. If using Moraine Room 1, Projector 1 should be selected. This will lower the screen(s). NOTE: One, two, or three projectors can be selected. Keep in mind that every projector being used has to be turned on manually with the remote.

  4. Tap on the source room. If using both MR1 and MR2 but using the computer in MR1, tap on Room 1. NOTE: Only one room can be selected.

  5. This is usually the PC, but the Moraine Rooms have a DVD/VCR player or can have a laptop hooked up. Ask the user what they are using for presenting.

  6. Press the power button on the computer (located inside of the podium, near the bottom). Tap on the source being used.

Shutting Down:

  1. On the controller, press "Main Page."

  2. Press System Shutdown

  3. Confirm Shut Down.

  4. Shut down the computer as normal.

  5. Press “Standby” twice on the projector remote. The first time will ask for confirmation. Press it again to power down the projector.
