Option 1: Scheduling a virtual meeting through Outlook
- Open your calendar in Outlook.
- Select "New Meeting"
- From the meeting window that has opened - create a title, invite attendees, and choose a time.
- Select the "Teams Meeting" button from the ribbon.
- You will now see a Microsoft Teams meeting has been scheduled from the body of the email.
- Select "Send" - You're done!

Option 2: Scheduling a virtual meeting through the Teams app
- Select "Calendar" in Teams
- Select "New meeting"
- If you select the drop down you will have additional meeting options including Webinar, Town Hall, Class, Lecture, Live event.
- Optional: Another way to begin scheduling a meeting is by double clicking in an available time slot.

- A new window will open that will contain the scheduling details - Title, attendees, time, location, and meeting details.
- Use the "Scheduling assistant" to find a meeting time when all of the attendees available.
- Choose "Save".

- To immediately start a meeting, choose "Meet now".
- Choose "Get a link to share" from the drop down (Not shown).
- You will need to share the link with the attendees by one of the two options:
- Copying the link and sharing it with the attendees.
- Choose "Share via email" to automatically open in Outlook.
