Overview

This article will show you how to record your Zoom meetings into a chosen Panopto folder.

Steps

Follow the steps in each section to get started recording Zoom meetings to Panopto.

Setup Panopto to Import Zoom Recordings

Step 1. Open an Internet browser and go to morainevalley.hosted.panopto.com

Step 2. Sign in with your Moraine Valley credentials.

Step 3. Click on your name in the top right corner of the page.

Step 4. Select "User Settings" in the menu that opens.

 

 

Step 5. In the "User Settings" menu, scroll down to the "Meeting Import Settings" section. Check the box next to "Zoom" under "Automatic Import" and click "Update."

 

Step 6. Click "Edit" next to "Default Folder."

 

Step 7. Select a Default Folder for your recordings to be located in, such as "My Folder" or a course folder, and click "Save."

 

 

Record Your Zoom Meeting to the Cloud

Step 1. Open an Internet browser and go to https://morainevalley-edu.zoom.us

Step 2. Sign in with your Moraine Valley credentials.

Step 3. Start a meeting.

Step 4. Once in a meeting, click the "Record" button at the bottom of your meeting window and select "Record to the Cloud."

        NOTE: You may also set a meeting to automatically record to the cloud when scheduling the meeting in advance.

Step 5. Click the "Record" button again to stop recording. The recording will also stop if you end the meeting.

 

View Your Recorded Meetings in Panopto

Step 1. In an Internet browser, go to morainevalley.hosted.panopto.com

Step 2. Locate the folder you selected as your "Default Folder" in the first section of this article. You may view a list of the folders you have created by clicking "Browse" on the left side of the page and then the "My Folders" tab. Click on the folder you selected to open it.

 

Step 3. When they have finished processing, your meetings will appear inside your chosen Default Folder. Click on the meeting to view it.

         NOTE: If you selected a course folder as your Default Folder, the videos may also be viewable from the "Panopto Videos" page of that course's Canvas shell.
