The information in this article describes how to contact the Help Desk for technology assistance

Information

The Moraine Valley Help Desk is located in Building T - Room T520. It is the first point of contact for Moraine Valley students, faculty and staff in need of technology assistance. 

If you require technology assistance:

  • Search the Knowledgebase for articles, tips, and resolutions
  • Visit our Service Catalog to open a ticket
  • On Campus:  Dial extension x4357 (HELP) from any campus phone.
  • Off Campus:  Dial 1-708-608-HELP (1-708-608-4357)
  • Visit the Help Desk in Room T520 located in the T-Building
  • Email:  HelpDesk@morainevalley.edu and a ticket will automatically be generated

When calling for technical assistance please have the following information:

  • Your name and role (Student, Faculty, or Staff)
  • Location of the issue (Building and Room Number)
  • Existing ticket number if you have one created already

Help Desk Office Hours:

Fall/Spring:
Monday-Friday            7am-10pm
Saturday                      8am-4pm

Summer:
Monday-Thursday       7am-10pm
Friday                          7am-12pm
Saturday                      8am-5pm

*After hours support is provided for critical systems and technical emergencies. If calling past hours, a ticket will be opened on your behalf and a technician will contact you the next business day.
