This article will show you how to make complex passwords. All users should follow these instructions.
Steps
These are the steps that must be followed.
Password policy requirements for Students:
- be at least 8 characters long
- contain characters from THREE of the following categories:
- lowercase letters
- uppercase letters
- numeric digits (0 through 9)
- other alphanumeric characters ( !,@,#,$ …)
- may not contain your username or any part of your name
Password policy requirements for Employees:
- be at least 8 characters long
- contain characters from all THREE of the following categories:
- lowercase letters
- uppercase letters
- numeric digits (0 through 9)
- other alphanumeric characters ( !,@,#,$ …)
- may not contain your username or any part of your name
