Overview
The steps below will guide you through the process to register for the Password Reset Tool.
You must know your username and password to register with the Password Reset Tool. The Password Reset Tool will allow you to answer 5 security questions. When answering the security questions, pick answers only you will know. Once registered, you can use the Password Reset link to answer your security questions and create a new password.
Steps
These are the steps that must be followed.

Step #1
- Visit www.morainevalley.edu and click "login" at the top.
Step #2
- Click on "MVConnect" within the drop-down menu.
Step #3
- The "Moraine Valley Login" screen should appear.
- At this point, do not enter your login credentials.
- Click on "Signup to Reset Password (current password required) link.
Step #4
- Enter your username.
- Do not enter the @student.morainevalley.edu or @morainevalley.edu part of your address.
- Enter your current password in the password field.
- Click "Log On".
Step #5
- Click "Next" to continue through the registration process.
Step #6
- Re-enter your current password.
Step #7
- Answer the 5 security questions.
- You must answer all 5 questions.
- Each answer must contain at least 4 characters and no two answers may be the same.
Step #8
- Continue until you have successfully registered your answers.
Step #9
- In the case you have forgotten your password, you can now use the "Reset your Password (requires sign up) tool to answer your security questions and create a new password.
